Some brilliant videos of Bradford people talking about the barriers to work they have experienced were shown at the seminar. These had been filmed as part of the Employ Disability project. An information pack is to be produced for employers to show best practices in employing people with disabilities and this has been funded by Adult Services.

 

Below is some information from the seminar that took place on Tuesday 28th April 2009 at the City Hall in Bradford. It was entitled 'After the Inspector Called' and was a follow up on basic H&S issues found during recent joint inspections in Bradford by the HSE and Environmental Health. see below

Working For A Healthier Tomorrow

There iwas a major seminar on occupational health and safety in Bradford on the morning of September 24th entitiled 'Working For a Healthier Tomorrow'. Dame Carol Black, author of a recent review on the health of the working age population will spoke along with representatives of Bradford Council, Bradford and Airedale tPCT,Trades Union and Local Business.
